Sale of Chametz 2015

During Pesach it is not permitted to own any chametz. To avoid having to throw or give away the chametz that we may have in our possession, we sell it to a non-Jewish person for the duration of the festival. Often people will authorize a person within the community to sell the chametz on their behalf. More details
