Hazak—the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism’s organization for people 55 and older—Welcomes Jo-Anne Tucker-Zemlak , International Hazak Director of USCJ on Wednesday night , August 19th,2009 at 4:30 PM to Temple Beth Shalom, 1901 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, learn about Camp Hazak 2010 a summer week “encampment” at the Block Hexter Conference Center in the Poconos and Hazak’s 2010 Winter trip to Israel. Camp Hazak -members of Hazak come from as far away as Texas, Kansas, and Florida to join others from Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and Virginia for a weeklong retreat at the Block and Hexter Vacation Center in Poyntelle, Pennsylvania

The program includes visits to Israel’s must sees along with wonderful cultural experiences, an authentic Shabbat experience in Jerusalem, insightful speakers, and meals at some of the best restaurants in Israel.
