CBTBI Receives Grant

Good News for CBTBI!

CBTBI is happy to announce that it has received a $500 grant from the Jewish Community Foundation to be used toward the purchase of a new electric piano for our sanctuary. The current piano, donated by Paul and Kaye Bunkin, will be moved downstairs and used extensively by the choir, religious school, and for b’nai mitzvah training.

But $500 won’t cover the entire cost of the new piano. To raise needed funds, we will be hosting a major fundraising event. The CBTBI choir is teaming up with the Community Chorus of Rowan College at Gloucester County for a special concert at CBTBI on April 17. (visit www.cbtbi.org/news/inspirational-music/ for more information). Admission is free, but we will ask for donations at the door and in the weeks prior to the concert.

Donors’ names will appear in the concert program. Checks made out to CBTBI, with “piano” in the memo line, can be mailed to Steve Blocher or dropped off at his office. Thank you for your support!
