Learn to Cook with CBTBI’s New Online Series

Members and non-members: Love to cook or want to learn? Exciting news here at CBTBI! In the works is a newly-minted CBTBI Family Cookbook with distribution planned in mid-November… just in time for Thanksgiving. But starting now, we will feature several of the recipes in Zoom cooking classes! Not a chef, but a chef at heart? These step by step classes, on all levels from easy to difficult, are perfect for you! Registration is $10 per class, per household.

“L’dor, V’dor: Jewish Soul Food” (and other family favorites) will highlight a kid’s section with kid-friendly recipes as well as crafts. Our starter Zoom class presents Emily demonstrating how to make slime! Please join Emily on June 22 at 6:30 PM. To register, please Venmo $10 @CBTBI-Fundraising (www.venmo.com/CBTBI-Fundraising) or send a check to Live Zoom Class; c/o Jon Fein, 107 Maple Hill Drive, Swedesboro, NJ 08085. Once paid, we will send you the list of ingredients and the Zoom link.

Keep your eyes open for future classes hosted by Lori as she teaches us how to make her famous blintzes, Paul (recipe TBD), and Leona with her dynamite sweet treat. Look for our postings and when something piques your interest, let us know.

Care to host a live Zoom class yourself or with a partner? Julie Fein will be happy to hear from you and help with the details. You can reach her at 856-982-6588 or Julie.fein@comcast.net.

Whether you watch a cooking class, teach a class, send in recipes, provide a personal story about each recipe, or purchase the cookbook for family and friends, thank you for being an integral part of our newest project! Watch for the Cookbook kick-off… coming soon!
