HOW WILL YOU ASSURE JEWISH TOMORROWS?
BY LEAVING A LEGACY TODAY!

WHAT IS LIFE & LEGACY?

Life & LegacyLIFE & LEGACY is a partnership of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) and the Jewish Community Foundation, Inc. that promotes after-lifetime giving to benefit local Jewish organizations including Congregation B’nai Tikvah Beth Israel (CBTBI).

WHY PARTICIPATE?

In one way or another your life is rooted in Jewish experiences connecting you to the Jewish community. Chances are you already support Jewish charitable organizations, but have you included CBTBI in your will or estate plan? By leaving a legacy, you can assure that the traditions and institutions that mean so much to you today will exist for future generations.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?

All of us, regardless of age, wealth or affiliation, have the ability to leave a legacy.

You legacy gift of any size can be customized and structured to fit your dreams, lifestyle, family and financial needs. You can provide support for a particular area of interest of CBTBI or the organization as a whole.

LEAVING A LEGACY IS SIMPLE

The simplest method of leaving a legacy is through a will or estate plan,

Or by adding (or changing) a beneficiary designation on a retirement fund or ownership of a life insurance policy.

Your legacy commitment can be a percentage or a specific dollar amount.

You can establish an endowment with a contribution now or at the time your gift is realized

WHAT IS CBTBI’S CURRENT STATUS?

Over the last 2 years, the following congregants have signed a Letter of Intent which allowed us to earn $10,000 in grants from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.  By making your legacy commitment now to Congregation B’nai Tikvah Beth Israel, or sharing with us, confidentially, that you have already done so, you can add your name to the list and by doing so, help us earn an additional $2500 in grants this year.
